The Career and Placement Services office assists graduating students and alumni in finding employment in fields related to their major areas of study or continuing on to advanced studies. These services play a critical role in helping the college to fulfill its mission and have long been considered a cornerstone to the Institute's success. The Placement Office goals are to:

- Identify challenging technical positions for students while in school and after graduation.
- Continue to develop relationships with employers and to draw on their professional expertise.
- Develop and implement new innovative workshops to assure students gain the appropriate information to make educated decisions. Workshops such as: Resume Writing/Cover Letter Writing; Interviewing Skills/ Making Decisions and Negotiating your Salary; Etiquette & Ethics/ Surviving Your First Year on the Job; Conducting a Job Search/ Using the Web in Your Job Search

Career Fair 2007
Job fairs are held during the spring semester of the academic year. The fair gives students the opportunity to speak with recruiters and to apply for full-time employment, part-time employment in their field of study and internship opportunities for the summer. The fair also serves to help students focus attention on their professional preparedness as a number of students are interviewed on the spot, complete applications and arrange for tours and interviews at company sites.

Franklin Students can use this panel to keep track of progress towards earning "Professional Readiness Certification" status from the Career Services & Placement Office (CSPO).
There are several points to keep in mind regarding "Certification".
- All 2nd year students must have a polished resume on file in the CSPO in advance to gain access to the Annual Job Fair
- Active participation at scheduled workshops and coaching sessions is expected and required.
- All "Certification Check-list" items must be completed by all students prior to graduation and to get the recommendation of the CSPO to employers.
