Visit Campus
Prospective applicants are encouraged to visit BFIT to discuss their career objectives and academic preparation. Interviews are not required for admission and are used primarily to counsel students in selecting an appropriate program.
During a visit to BFIT, students will have an opportunity to tour the laboratories, shops, and drafting rooms, and to discuss employment opportunities for BFIT graduates.
Appointments are recommended. The Office of Admission schedules appointments Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Open Houses
All Open Houses are held on Saturdays starting at 10:30am and ending at 1:00pm.
The next Open House is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2007.
Open Houses are a great opportunity to meet with faculty and administration to get an in-depth look at your program of interest. Faculty give tours of the labs and admissions personnel provide general tours of the College. You also have the opportunity to talk to staff members about financial aid, admissions, career services, academic support, and student life. We even provide a few goodies and coffee to perk you up in the morning.

Information Sessions
BFIT also offers a series of Information Sessions each spring. Each session highlights one or two degree or certificate programs in a small, informal group environment. These sessions are your one-stop opportunity to explore a program and career in depth, meet faculty and students, and get answers to your questions. Admissions representatives are available to answer your questions about getting started in one of our programs. Check the BFIT home page for announcements of upcoming Information Sessions.
